Our successful collaboration with the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) resulted in a groundbreaking tokenization project. NBB aimed to enhance their payment services by offering secure tokenization capabilities to their debit and credit card customers. We developed a robust system that allowed customers to conveniently load their cards into popular digital wallets such as the BENEFIT Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. By seamlessly integrating the Bahrain central bank’s token provision system with SWITCHWARE and Prime, we ensured a smooth flow of tokenized card information and enabled secure digital wallet payments. This transformative project has positioned NBB as a leader in digital payment innovation, providing their customers with enhanced flexibility and security in their transactions.
